- Strong understanding of HTSUS and Canada HS structure, including GRIs and binding precedent
- Ability to identify product nuances affecting classification and admissibility
- Familiarity with PGA requirements and agency-specific risks or restrictions
- Proven experience conducting structured tariff and regulatory research
- High attention to detail in reviewing product descriptions and specifications
- Previous experience in trade compliance or related fields
- Understanding of customs regulations and procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
