Compensation Based on Experience.

$60,000 - $90,000 per year | Knoxville, TN | On-site | Permanent

• Prepare detailed labor and material takeoffs for HVAC and sheet metal systems
• Develop accurate cost estimates including equipment, materials, labor, and subcontractor scope
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required
• Collaborate with internal teams to support bid strategy and project turnover
• Maintain knowledge of applicable mechanical codes, materials, and industry standards
• Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand scope and requirements

• 5+ years of experience estimating mechanical construction projects with a strong focus on HVAC and sheet metal systems
• Experience supporting commercial and/or industrial construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Experience performing detailed labor and material takeoffs
• Proficiency with estimating/takeoff software (such as Trimble Auto Bid or similar)
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe
• Experience working with vendors and subcontractors to develop pricing
• Strong math and analytical skills
