Job Overview
Ameresco, Inc. is a leading energy solutions provider dedicated to helping customers reduce costs, enhance resilience, and decarbonize. This role supports projects throughout the United States and is based in Knoxville, TN, with the possibility of remote work.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts.
- Resource and cost load schedules when required.
- Provide monthly schedule updates for all projects.
- Report schedule status to project staff and company management.
- Provide project controls expertise and manage project controls processes.
- Prepare progress reports on project status, including costs and schedule.
- Assist with internal cost reporting and forecasting.
- Assist in reviewing and preparing change orders; maintain change order logs.
- Assist in the subcontractor bidding process.
- Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, regulatory and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes.
- Cultivate and maintain positive business relationships.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in scheduling and cost controls.
- Ability to review confidential US security information.
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
- Completion or progress toward engineering, technical, or industry-related education preferred.
- Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling for general construction projects and understanding of construction sequencing and logic preferred.
- Government construction experience preferred.
- Renewable Energy construction scheduling experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete assignments.
- Excellent organization skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal, written, computer communication, and technical presentation skills.
- May require flexibility for ‘on call’ support or varied schedule needs.
