Position Location:This position will be based around the Middle Tennessee area and will report to the Project Manager.
Position Summary:The Mechanical Superintendent oversees HVAC and plumbing installation and renovation projects for commercial and institutional clients in the East Tennessee and Chattanooga regions. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality work is completed on schedule and within scope, while also managing customer relations, communication, and profitability. Serving as both a coordinator and a client liaison, the Mechanical Superintendent plays a key role in fostering strong relationships between the company, contractors, and clients, acting as the primary point of contact in day-to-day interactions.
This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented team member who demonstrates accountability, adaptability, and a strong commitment to the Four Seasons Core Values.
Roles & Responsibilities :- Act as the day-to-day and primary company point of contact for assigned projects
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise project work & deliveries to maintain schedule and profitability
- Ensure that daily logs and safety reports are completed and submitted
- Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Attend project meetings with proper documentation
- Maintain the project schedule to ensure timely completion of the project
- Ensure project work is in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and codes
- Coordinate to confirm that subcontractors are fully executing contracted scopes of work
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in the construction industry with proven success managing multiple active job sites and projects
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and schematics
- Ability to resolve conflicts and make decisions under pressure
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management
- At least 8 years of hands‑on experience in the construction industry with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems to oversee work and ensure correct installation and functionality
- Familiarity with Pro Core or other related project management software
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification
- Pay Rate:
Based on experience and expertise. - Health Coverage:
