We are currently looking for experienced Construction Laborers with a valid CDL-A Driver License to perform construction tasks related to sewer pipe repair and rehab operations on our Close Tolerance Pipe Slurrification crew in the Knoxville, TN area. You will also help support the foreman and skilled production workers to ensure project goals are met on time. Candidates with basic construction knowledge and experience are encouraged to apply.

Our crews travel out of town each week, Monday-Friday.

We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout.

Starting pay is $22.00-$30.00 per hour dependent upon experience. Candidates with enough industry experience may be able to negotiate a higher starting rate. We offer 100% paid on-the-job training!

• Perform construction tasks related to sewer pipe repair operations
• Support the foreman and skilled production works to ensure project goals are met
• Locate existing pipe that needs repair or replacement using trenching tools
• Install pipes safely and correctly
• Use certified chains and roll hoses around pipes and manholes
• Basic construction tasks which include the use of hand tools and clean up
• Use tamping machines or hand tools to grade or level trench bases
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment from our vocational vehicles and trailers
• Set up and / or monitor bypass pumping systems
• Enter confined spaces and exit into manholes and / or underground structures

• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Valid CDL-A driver's license required
• Ability to travel out of town each week, Monday-Friday.
• 6+ months of underground utility construction or commercial building construction experience, specifically using rakes, shovels, and other small power tools required
• Completion of a Heavy Equipment Operator School, or Enrollment in an Accredited Construction Labor or Heavy Equipment Operator Apprenticeship Program required
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certifications are a plus
• Ability to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, bend, reach, kneel, crawl, stretch; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; talk and hear without visual cues; lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
