MTLC Building Group is looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team, with a focus on interior build-outs and small- to mid-size ground-up projects.

As an MTLC Superintendent, you’ll take the lead in the field—coordinating day-to-day construction activities, managing subcontractors and field personnel, and keeping projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

We’re looking for someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable solving problems in real time. Just as important, you should value relationships and understand that how we work with customers, subcontractors, and one another matters.

• Commercial construction experience, particularly in tenant finish, interior build-outs, and remodels
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to keep a team moving in the same direction
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills
• An eye for detail and a commitment to quality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A solid understanding of architectural and MEP drawings
• The ability to stay organized and level-headed in a fast-paced construction environment

You’ll help turn the project plan into a successful finished product. That means you’ll:

• Lead by example and represent MTLC with the friendly, professional, customer-first approach we’re known for
• Set clear expectations for jobsite safety and ensure field personnel understand and follow them
• Understand each customer’s plans, priorities, and expectations—and communicate effectively with their representatives throughout the project
• Manage day-to-day jobsite activities in accordance with the project plan
• Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding progress, performance, challenges, and upcoming needs
• Monitor and maintain the construction schedule and document progress through photos and reports
• Anticipate problems, find solutions, and keep projects moving while maintaining contract requirements and customer expectations
• Manage subcontractor performance, quality, and schedule, including punch-list completion and project closeout
• Coordinate and lead meetings as needed to keep everyone informed and aligned
• Build strong working relationships with MTLC team members, subcontractors, customers, and project partners
