Construction Operator, Construction Labor & Trades

Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is seeking an Equipment Operator to support electrical construction projects. This position primarily operates skid steers, backhoes, and other heavy equipment while assisting crews with site preparation, excavation, and material handling.

What You'll Do
· Safely operate skid steers, backhoes, mini excavators, and similar construction equipment
· Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and back filling activities
· Load, unload, transport, and stage materials, tools, and equipment
· Conduct equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
· Follow project plans, safety procedures, and supervisor direction
· Assist electrical construction crews with general construction activities as needed
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

What We're Looking For
· Experience operating skid steers, backhoes, excavators, or similar equipment
· Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
· Ability to work effectively as part of a construction team
· Ability to follow jobsite plans, markings, and supervisor direction
· Willingness to assist field crews when equipment operation is not required
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Electrical construction experience preferred
