Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our onsite team in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained in breast imaging (preferred) and comfortable practicing in a comprehensive breast center environment.
This position offers a predictable weekday schedule, strong clinical support, and a collegial team atmosphere focused on excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Interpret:
- Screening and Diagnostic Mammography (including 3D Tomosynthesis)
- Breast Ultrasound
- Breast MRI
- Perform image-guided procedures:
- Stereotactic biopsies
- Ultrasound-guided biopsies
- MRI-guided biopsies
- Needle localizations
- Collaborate with referring providers and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in quality assurance and ACR compliance initiatives
- Provide compassionate patient-centered communication
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred (not required)
- Eligible for Tennessee medical licensure
- MQSA qualified
- Strong procedural skills and commitment to quality outcomes
Compensation Structure - 1099 / Procedural Fee Model
- Independent contractor (1099) structure
