Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver age‑appropriate lessons and activities aligned with early childhood learning standards
Create a welcoming classroom environment where children feel secure, respected, and encouraged to explore
Promote children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through structured and unstructured activities
Maintain discipline and daily routines that encourage positive behavior and cooperation
Observe, assess, and document children’s growth, behaviors, and learning progress using appropriate tools and methods
Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication, parent‑teacher conferences, and progress reports
Follow all health, hygiene, and safety protocols while maintaining a clean and organized classroom
Collaborate with fellow teachers, aides, and administrators to support school goals and share best practices
Adapt activities to accommodate children with diverse learning needs and developmental levels
Participate in ongoing professional development, workshops, and staff meetings to stay current with early childhood education trends
General Qualifications (Applicable to All Lead Teacher Roles)Minimum age:
18 years or older
- Pay Range: $14–$16 per hour (based on education and experience)
Education: High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
Experience: Previous experience in an early childhood educational setting preferred but not required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Commitment to maintaining health, safety, and regulatory standards
Demonstrated passion for working with children and supporting their development
