Position: School Psychologist |

Step into a dynamic role supporting student success in a welcoming school environment near Knoxville, TN. This contract position gives you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference as a school psychologist for the full 2026–2027 school year. Enjoy the balance of part-time work, dedicating 20 hours each week to evaluating and uplifting students with diverse needs across the district.

You’ll serve the full special education caseload, providing essential re‑evaluations throughout the year and responding promptly to requests from teachers and parents. Your expertise will help ensure students receive the tailored support and resources they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications and

Experience:
  • Valid School Psychologist certification (state of Tennessee or eligibility for transfer)
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience with psycho educational assessment, report writing, and special education compliance
  • Familiarity with developing IEPs and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize evaluations based on district timelines and team needs
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive re‑evaluations for students as required for the 2026–2027 school year
  • Respond to ad hoc evaluation requests driven by parent or teacher concerns
  • Use data to inform recommendations and interventions
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with district and state guidelines

This role offers an hourly rate of $41.50, along with health and dental benefits, 401(k) matching, and the convenience of weekly pay.
