Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are seeking a Test Engineer who thrives at the intersection of mechanical systems and data analysis. In this role, you will be the final authority on product quality, ensuring that complex drive trains, ranging from classic internal combustion engines to modern EV systems, meet OEM performance standards before hitting the road. If you enjoy using data to solve mechanical mysteries, this is your environment.

Core

Responsibilities
  • Validation Authority: Oversee the operation of dynamo meters and hydraulic test stands for transmissions, engines, and electric drive units.
  • Data Analysis: Interpret complex data streams (CAN bus, pressure traces, torque curves) to identify pass/fail criteria and detect subtle performance anomalies.
  • Root Cause Troubleshooting: Diagnose failures at the system level. Determine if a failure is due to a component defect, assembly error, or test calibration issue.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine test scripts and procedures to improve cycle time, accuracy, and failure detection.
  • Cross-Functional Feedback: Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to translate test data into actionable improvements on the assembly line.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Technical Background: B.S. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent high-level hands‑on experience in automotive testing.
  • Drivetrain Expertise: Strong understanding of automatic transmissions, internal combustion engines, or EV powertrains (hydraulics, clutches, solenoids, gears).
  • Test Lab

    Experience:

Proven experience with end-of-line (EOL) testing, dyno cells, or similar validation environments.
  • Data Fluency: Familiarity with data acquisition tools (e.g., Vector CANape, LabVIEW) and the ability to interpret technical logs.
  • Problem Solver: A structured approach to troubleshooting (Root Cause Analysis, 8D) is essential.
Why Join Us?
  • Modern Tech: Gain exposure to a massive variety of products, including cutting‑edge hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
  • High Impact: Your work directly protects our reputation and ensures driver safety.
  • Growth Potential: Join a stable industry leader with clear pathways into controls engineering, R&D, and quality management.
