Job SummaryManages the application engineering responsibilities for an organization.
Job Duties- Oversee the provision of technical solutions for clients and customers
- Determine purchasing and technical requirements
- Review and recommend changes in design that align with the organization's goals
- Ensure adequate technology is in place and utilized to meet internal and or client's needs
- Make certain that all reported issues are resolved in relation to organizational standards
- Maintain expert knowledge of the product(s) and ensure that adaptations to applications provide solutions to user's needs
- May develop policy for providing technical training to clients or internal users
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles
- Perform complex tasks typically following established processes
- Lead and direct the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions
- Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures; may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning and procedural change
- Typically require a bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience
