Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our suppliers meet the quality standards necessary for our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with suppliers to implement quality assurance measures, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as IATF 16949:2016. Your expertise in quality management and supplier management will be critical in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain.

• To provide supplier development & process support to suppliers
• Ensure supplied component adherence to design requirements

• Work Experience:
  
  1-3 years experience in a materials environment preferred but not required.
• Previous Engineering experience desired, preferably in an automotive environment.

• High School Diploma
• College degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience and training.

• Ability to use various Microsoft based programs and or ERP programs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data.
• Ability to work with various disciplines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of AIAG standards.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Travel required as needed for supplier compliance requirements.

Job Type: Full-time | Pay: $65,000 - $90,000 per year |

Schedule:

8 hour shift, Day shift

• Quality audits: 1 year (Preferred)
• AS9100: 1 year (Preferred)
• FDA regulations: 1 year (Preferred)
• Six Sigma Certification (Preferred)
