Engineering Associate II

Overview

PDS3/ Power Delivery Substation – P&C Engineering Associate II with 2 to 4 years of design experience. The ideal candidate reads, understands and helps produce Protection & Control design drawings (Single Line, AC/DC Schematic, Elementary and Connection diagrams, Front & Rear View Layout/Elevation drawings, Bills of Material, etc.). Proficiency in AutoCAD or Micro Station required. Also capable of producing connection diagrams based on AC/DC schematics.

Strong attention to detail and self-checks prior to submission. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. P&C design experience in HV/MV substations is a plus.

• Read, interpret, and help produce P&C design drawings (Single Line, AC/DC Schematics, etc.).
• Produce connection diagrams based on AC/DC schematics.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and related documentation.
• Use AutoCAD or Micro Station to create design drawings.
• Self-check design work for accuracy before submission to checker.
• Collaborate with project team to resolve design issues.

• CAD proficiency (AutoCAD or Micro Station).
• 2 to 4 years design experience in P&C or HV/MV substations preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
