• Secret clearance
• 1–13+ years of experience with high‑power electrical systems (10 kW and above)
• Hands‑on experience with system bring‑up from an unpowered state
• Strong understanding of AC and DC power systems
• Experience with power converters including rectifiers, inverters, DC‑DC stages
• Experience with energy storage systems such as batteries and supercapacitors
• Experience with protection devices such as contractors, fuses, and breakers
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, etc.)
• Ability to read and generate schematics, wiring diagrams, and one‑line diagrams
• BS degree in electrical engineering or related field; up to a Masters acceptable

Assemble PES hardware including power converters, energy storage systems, PDUs, protection devices, and thermal subsystems.

Integrate rack‑level and containerized systems, ensuring proper mechanical fit, cabling, grounding, and labeling.

Support MOSA‑aligned architectures to maintain modularity and component interchangeability.

Coordinate pre‑charge, contactor sequencing, and safe bring‑up of high‑voltage and low‑voltage buses.

Develop and execute system‑level and component‑level test procedures.

Configure and operate programmable power supplies, loads, AFEs, and battery emulators.

Instrument systems to measure voltage, current, power quality, transients, and thermal behavior.

Conduct FAT, integration testing, fault insertion, and regression testing.

Verify performance against electrical, thermal, and control requirements.

Diagnose hardware, wiring, firmware, and controls issues during bring‑up and testing.

Perform structured root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Validate fixes through retest and document findings for internal and customer use.

Create and maintain wiring diagrams, one‑line diagrams, test reports, and as‑built documentation.

Support configuration management of hardware, firmware, and test setups.

Provide feedback to design teams to improve manufacturability, testability, and system robustness.

Follow and enforce high‑voltage and high‑energy electrical safety procedures.

Support compliance with applicable military, industrial, and laboratory safety standards.

Participate in hazard analysis and risk‑mitigation activities.
