Position: SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our client, a global technology leader specializing in the development of sophisticated instrumentation, measurement, sensing, and quality assurance systems utilized by manufacturers worldwide.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly technical and hands‑on Electrical Engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, developing next‑generation products, and working across the full product development lifecycle—from concept and architecture through testing, validation, commercialization, and ongoing product enhancement.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for designing advanced electronic systems that integrate hardware, software, sensing technologies, motion control, communications, and precision measurement capabilities into industry‑leading instrumentation products.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a self‑directed and technically driven Electrical Engineer who can take ownership of complex mixed‑signal electronic designs and lead projects from concept through implementation.

This role combines analog and digital circuit design, PCB development, simulation, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and product support while working closely with software, firmware, mechanical, optical, manufacturing, and service teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Product Development & Electrical Design
  • Design, simulate, develop, and validate analog and digital electronic circuits for advanced instrumentation products
  • Develop system architectures and electronic designs supporting sensing, measurement, communications, motion control, and data acquisition applications
  • Design and support mixed‑signal systems utilizing:
    • Microcontrollers
    • FPGAs
    • DSPs
    • Operational Amplifiers
    • A/D & D/A Converters
    • Signal Conditioning Circuits
    • Filters
    • Linear and Switching Power Supplies
  • Develop interface electronics supporting sensors, motion control systems, optical systems, communications hardware, and embedded technologies
  • Create schematics and support multilayer PCB layout activities utilizing Altium Designer or similar tools
Testing, Validation & Troubleshooting
  • Perform board bring‑up, prototyping, debugging, and verification testing
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware and system‑level issues utilizing advanced laboratory instrumentation and diagnostic techniques
  • Conduct performance characterization, validation testing, and design verification activities
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions associated with product performance and reliability
  • Provide engineering support for both new product development initiatives and existing legacy product platforms
Cross‑Functional Engineering Collaboration
  • Partner closely with software, firmware, mechanical, optical, manufacturing, and service engineering teams
  • Support highly integrated electro‑mechanical and electro‑optical product development projects
  • Communicate hardware modifications, design updates, and technical improvements to manufacturing and service teams
  • Participate in design reviews and product development planning activities
  • Assist with evaluating emerging technologies and industry trends to support future product innovation initiatives
  • Provide technical expertise related to existing products and field performance issues
  • Support service technicians and manufacturing teams with hardware troubleshooting and product improvement initiatives
  • Maintain detailed engineering documentation, design records, test reports, and technical specifications
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, manufacturability, quality, and product performance
QUALIFICATIONS Required
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or higher
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in analog and digital circuit design
