Tech Source, a Salas O'Brien Company, is hiring a full-time Senior HVAC Engineer to serve as the technical subject matter expert to identify candidates and work scope for future business growth. Conduct construction document reviews and work on large-scale projects from planning to execution phases supporting Department of Energy (DOE) facilities.
Identify candidates and work scope for large HVAC projects at two Department of Energy facilities. Provide HVAC technical direction to engineers. Plan, organize, and coordinate process/engineering team/design projects from inception to project startup.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. 7 or more years of HVAC engineering experience in nuclear facilities, including project management experience. US citizenship is required. Working knowledge of federal (including DOE Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to HVAC design and systems.
Active DOE Q or Top Secret security clearance. DOE/NNSA work experience or knowledge.
Hybrid work arrangement in Aiken, SC or Knoxville, TN, depending on your location.
The expected base salary range for this role is $180,000- $230,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
