Power Electronics Integration Engineer - Directed Energy
HII's Mission Technologies division has an opportunity available for a Power Systems Integration Engineer located in Knoxville, TN. The Engineer will be responsible for assembling, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting high-power Power and Energy Systems (PES) used in modular microgrids and advanced load applications. The role ensures that system designs translate into safe, functional, and production-ready hardware.

Minimum Qualifications
Experience with high-power electrical systems (10 kW and above). Understanding of: AC and DC power systems Power converters (rectifiers, inverters, DC-DC) Energy storage systems (batteries, supercapacitors) Protection devices (contractors, fuses, breakers) Experience with electrical test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, etc.). Ability to read and generate schematics, wiring diagrams, and one-line diagrams. Clearance:
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance. Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
