Job Description

UTS is seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team. The Technician will play a crucial role in testing, modifying, repairing, or machining instrumentation and engineering parts. The primary objective of this position is to collaborate closely with engineering and quality control teams to ensure the seamless development of our products.

Job Responsibilities
  • Testing:
    Perform a variety of sample testing after the initial training period.
  • Repair:
    Perform various repair operations, including mechanical assembly/disassembly, grinding, media blasting, calibration, and more.
  • Machining:
    Execute diverse tasks involving testing, CNC machining, and 3D printing.
  • Inventory:
    Keeping an updated list of inventory and ordering low inventory parts.
  • Documentation:
    Utilize the company's document control system to create necessary documentation for tracking device modifications.
Qualifications
  • Detailed oriented, and patient for performing repetitive testings.
  • Good grasp of fundamental mechanical principles.
  • Proficient in hands-on mechanical skills.
  • Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings.
  • A creative thinker and effective problem solver.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Products:
    Excel, Word.
  • Preferred skills:
    Experience with at least one CAD software (Fusion 360 is preferred).
Hours and Salary
  • Full time 40 hours per week / Part-time a minimum of 20 hrs per week

Full-Time Circuit Designer or Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

Due to continued growth, our business unit currently has an opening for a full-time Electrical Engineer.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be:

  • Assisting the engineering team in the execution of project-based work. These projects may involve new designs and/or modifications, and upgrades to the custom power amplifiers driving the matrix of piezoelectric transducer arrays.
  • Working under the direction of Senior Engineers, utilizing and expanding your academic background in Electrical Engineering in one or more of the following areas:

Essential skills and experience:

  • Expertise in PCB design, fabrication, and manufacturing.
  • Circuit design: the ability to design, develop and fabricate the electric circuits, especially those associated with the high-efficiency amplifier drives for piezoelectric transducers.
  • Problem-solving skills, along with the creation and implementation of innovative approaches.
  • Experience in developing complex circuits from scratch, developing Gerber files for PCB production, good soldering skills, and troubleshooting the circuits.
  • Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with UL requirements necessary in the early product development cycle.

Preferred

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.
  • Minimum of a 3.5 GPA strongly preferred.
