The Axel Group is seeking a Civil EIT for our client's team in Knoxville, TN. This dynamic company specializes in land development and construction projects, focusing on shaping communities through residential and multi-family developments.

Responsibilities:- Support land development projects by assisting with grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design.
- Conduct feasibility studies for project acquisitions, including concept planning, zoning analysis, and preliminary grading.
- Assist in preparing civil construction plans for residential subdivisions and multi-family projects to obtain agency permits and approvals.
- Support project managers with engineering design tasks, technical reports, and construction phase services such as site visits, submittal reviews, RFI responses, and as-built reviews.
- Prepare hydrology and stormwater management reports to facilitate design and permitting.
- Develop lot fit exhibits with detailed house plans for single-family developments.
- Participate in project meetings, agency reviews, and respond to review comments.
- Stay current with relevant regulations and incorporate innovative design concepts for efficiency and cost savings.
- Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
- Active E.I.T. registration in the required state, with the ability to obtain a P.E. license.
- Minimum of 1+ years of engineering experience related to land development projects, with residential experience preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office; experience with ArcGIS is a plus.
- Ability to work overtime and travel overnight as needed.
- Strong communication, technical, and project coordination skills.
- Salary:
Up to $85,000 annually
