Role

The Commercial Lending Office Coordinator is responsible for the support of the lending and administrative functions for the Commercial Lending Department.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Assists Commercial Lending Officers with the loan origination process as well as with loan closings. Prepares Commercial Lending Loan Documentation in Laser Pro System, processes loans on Credit Union internal systems, including Symitar, Silverlake and Credit Quest, and reviews all support documents for Commercial Lending loans before being imaged. Establishes loans in core data system.
  • Assists Commercial Lending Loan Officers with ongoing maintenance and recordkeeping including periodic loan reviews and credit renewal processes, closed and paid out loans and withdrawn/declined credit application processing.
  • Performs various service type transactions, including processing the payments for departmental expenses and loan account maintenance, transactions, and adjustments as well as operational duties including billing notices, money wires, reports, referrals, mail distribution, supplies, scanning, filing, and general clerical duties.
  • Prepares Commercial Lending Department reports for Audit, Accounting, and Executive Departments including SBA Colson Report, HMDA Reports, Board of Director Reports, Internal Audit, NCUA Reviews, and other required miscellaneous reports.
  • Oversees departmental functions including compliance, operational procedures, quality of work, and corrects and resolves inaccuracies.
  • Researches, develops, and implements new Commercial Lending Department processes, systems and manuals as well as perform maintenance on current Commercial Lending Department processes, systems and manuals.
  • Provides friendly, professional information and problem-solving assistance to members, employees, and other businesses as related to business loan and deposit services.
  • Monitors Commercial Lending Department third party vendors and reviews/balances Commercial Lending GL Accounts.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience

Five or more years supporting commercial lending functions is required.

Education

Associate's Degree in a business-related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience is required.
