Overview
Medical Assistant
Cedar Recovery Opioid Treatment Program is an outpatient treatment facility that employs an array of evidenced-based treatment modalities to provide an integrated model of care of medical, counseling, and therapeutic interventions to treat every patient’s individual needs and promote long-term sustainable recovery from substance use disorder. While Cedar Recovery provides care for all substance use disorders, it has a primary focus on treating opioid use disorder with medications such as Methadone, Buprenorphine and/or Naltrexone (MAT).
The purpose of this position is to serve as a Medical Assistant for Cedar Recovery.
Responsibilities- Assists Medical Professionals with clinical prep including collection of lab specimens, patient UDS schedule, EKG, phlebotomy, admission data.
- Proficient computer manageability for scheduling and required documentation.
- Acts as support for the Office Coordinator and Patient Care Coordinator.

Successfully communicate with employees at all levels of the organization on a regular basis – including via face to face, email and other technologies utilized by Cedar Recovery. - Vendor Communication

Respectfully communicate with vendors, suppliers, and pharmacy representatives. - Interpersonal Skills
:
Foster open dialogue and actively listen to others in order to build and maintain effective and respectful working relationships throughout Cedar Recovery. - Innovation & Problem Solving
