The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a partner to leadership, providing guidance on human resources-related matters. This role collaborates with key stakeholders and leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, fostering a positive organizational culture, and driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and performance.
Responsibilities- Partner with senior management in strategic HR planning to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
- Implement change management strategies to support organizational initiatives and transformations.
- Mediate and resolve basic and complex teammate relations issues, provide guidance, and address grievances. Including performance improvement plans and terminations.
- Partner in talent acquisition efforts, working closely with recruiters to attract and hire top talent.
- Develop and implement strategies for teammate development, retention, and succession planning.
- Implement performance management processes, including calibration facilitation, performance review and 9‑box processes.
- Partner with Compensation Manager to analyze market trends and ensure salaries are competitive, providing recommendations and salary reviews with management.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Develop and update HR policies to reflect changes in the legal landscape and organizational needs.
- Track and analyze HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Provide regular reports to senior management on key HR metrics and trends.
- Analyze engagement trends and metrics from survey data and collaborate with leadership for continuous improvement.
- Maintain awareness of the culture, financial position, and competition of the assigned departments.
- Train and support managers on HR processes and HRIS.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management preferred or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- 3‑7 years of progressive experience in HR, with a focus on HR business partnering.
- Perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels.
- Extensive knowledge of personnel policies and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
- Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues.
