Overview

The People and Culture Business Partner manages the day-to-day human resources operations, including recruitment (staffing), employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management within their assigned location. This role ensures HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented to support organizational goals and maintain a positive work environment.

The People and Culture Business Partner reports to the Director, People and Culture for Elevation Foods.

Primary responsibilities

Recruitment & Staffing
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for positions assigned to fill.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
  • Own relationship with staffing partners leveraging contingent labor to support business needs.
Employee Relations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in resolving workplace issues and promote a positive culture.
HR Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support audits as needed.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Administer employee benefits programs and respond to related inquiries.
  • Assist with payroll processing and compensation reviews.
Performance Management
  • Support performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to managers.
  • Assist in developing training and development programs.
Policy & Procedure
  • Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures.
  • Recommend updates to policies to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience:

    2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
