Job SummaryThe Sr. Director, Analytics reports directly to the VP, Analytics and is responsible for leading analytics teams across client accounts with a strong emphasis on media analytics, particularly digital media. This role oversees the planning, execution, evaluation, and communication of data‑driven digital marketing results and actionable insights, including the development and implementation of holistic, cross‑channel measurement and testing plans.
Key Responsibilities- Lead assigned teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of analysis across client accounts
- Guide the development and execution of campaign measurement and data strategies
- Develop and mentor analytics talent within the team
- Promote a culture of best‑in‑class customer service by understanding client, partner, and internal stakeholder needs, translating those needs into creative solutions, and delivering with diligence and urgency
- Develop and execute frameworks to guide complex analytics projects
- Create and implement cross‑channel media measurement and testing plans
- Consult with colleagues and clients on measurement strategies and techniques
- Ensure appropriate analytics integration into all agency production processes
- Lead client communications to clearly convey results, efficiencies, opportunities, and optimizations that drive business results
- Independently and collaboratively assess client media programs
- Interpret media and marketing data to analyze impact on KPIs and ROI
- Deliver insights and action‑oriented analyses through dashboards, deep dives, infographics, and other formats
- Develop recommendations for investment shifts and marketing strategy optimization based on quantitative analysis
- Strong working knowledge of marketing and digital marketing
- Strong understanding of online advertising channels including Search, Display, Social, Contextual, Email, CTV, and OTT
- Extensive experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
- Strong working knowledge of ad trafficking and ad serving platforms (e.g., Double Click, Facebook, Google)
- Strong working knowledge of Tableau
- Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager and/or Adobe Tag Manager
- SQL, R, or Python experience and database administration knowledge a plus
- Experience presenting analyses to both small and large groups
- 7+ years of experience in media, marketing, or a related field (Agency experience required)
- 5+ years of experience in an analytics role
- 2+ years of experience in a managerial role
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Analytics required
- Master’s degree in Marketing or Business Analytics a plus
