Opportunity Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional looking to deepen hands-on experience in a cloud-forward, security-focused environment. The role blends end-user support with infrastructure administration, offering exposure to enterprise SaaS platforms, endpoint management, and network security technologies. The selected candidate will work closely with senior infrastructure personnel while owning day-to-day operational tasks across Microsoft cloud services, endpoint administration, and foundational network security.
Primary Focus Areas
Cloud Platform & Identity Administration
- Administer users, licensing, and group policies within Microsoft 365 and Entra (Azure AD).
- Provide operational support across Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and One Drive.
- Troubleshoot mail flow, permissions, collaboration access, and identity-related issues.
- Monitor service health dashboards and escalate systemic platform concerns.
- Manage corporate endpoints using Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
- Support device provisioning, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and application deployment.
- Assist with Windows Autopilot and device lifecycle processes.
- Ensure endpoints meet security baselines and compliance standards.
Network & Security Support
- Provide operational support for enterprise firewall infrastructure (Fortinet environment preferred).
- Monitor VPN connectivity, firewall alerts, switch health, and security events.
- Assist with multi-factor authentication enforcement and secure remote access configuration.
- Support endpoint security monitoring and assist in initial triage of lower-severity alerts.
- Maintain SharePoint Online site structures, document libraries, and access permissions.
- Support governance efforts, including cleanup, organization, and lifecycle management.
- Assist users with collaboration tools and document version control issues.
Operational Support & Documentation
- Deliver Tier 1–2 technical support for Windows systems, SaaS platforms, and connectivity issues.
- Support imaging, deployment, hardware refresh, and asset lifecycle tracking.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including SOPs, network diagrams, and knowledge base updates.
Core Technical Requirements (Must-Have Experience)
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure operations.
- Hands-on administration experience with:
- Basic SharePoint Online administration
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing concepts).
- Familiarity with endpoint security platforms (EDR or equivalent).
- Demonstrated troubleshooting methodology and strong service orientation.
Preferred Technical Exposure
- Experience supporting next-generation firewalls (Fortinet preferred).
- Exposure to VPN configuration and MFA integration.
- Basic Power Shell scripting for automation or reporting.
- Industry certifications such as:
- Microsoft Fundamentals (AZ-900, MS-900)
- MD-102
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
