Job Title: SVP, Paid Social

Location-Type: Hybrid (3x onsite: Tues-Thurs; Knoxville, TN preferred; NYC optional), Open to Relocation!!!

Start Date: ASAP (within 2 weeks)

Duration: Permanent

Compensation Range: $250-300K plus Bonus (Relocation covered)

Job Description: Lead and elevate a world-class paid social department, driving performance-first strategy, technical execution, and enterprise-level client success across $300M in annual paid social spend.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Architect and oversee advanced paid social strategies across 50 accounts
  • Lead a 15-person paid social team (20 buyers) with full departmental ownership
  • Maintain buy quality and performance standards across ~$300M in annual spend
  • Execute and optimize campaigns hands-on within platforms (primarily Meta, Tik Tok)
  • Drive revenue-focused KPIs (ROAS, hard conversions, efficiency, revenue growth)
  • Partner with Data Science, Analytics, Investment, Creative, and Search teams
  • Manage platform relationships (Meta, Tik Tok, Pinterest)
  • Contribute to new business pitches and enterprise client presentations (20% client-facing)
  • Implement emerging best practices (AI, advanced testing, measurement, cAPI, offline signals)
  • Lead hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management of team members
Requirements:
  • Must-Haves:
    • 10 years of digital/social media experience within a national or independent agency
    • Current, hands-on paid social buying experience (in-platform daily)
    • Deep expertise in Meta (platform product roadmap knowledge)
    • Strong Tik Tok performance experience;
      Pinterest a plus
    • Proven success managing $20M-$100M annual client budgets
    • Demonstrated ability to reverse declining performance and improve efficiency
    • Advanced analytics and measurement expertise (hard conversion focus)
    • Deep understanding of the social auction dynamic and performance levers
    • Experience deploying pixels, troubleshooting tracking, and implementing cAPI
    • Experience training and developing buyers from entry-level to advanced
    • Performance marketing background (eComm, Lead Gen, Client - not brand/awareness focused)
    • Enterprise client management experience with revenue-tied KPIs
    • USC or GC
  • Nice-to-Haves:
    • Experience at top performance-driven agencies (e.g., Tinuiti, Wpromote, PMG, iProspect, Digitas, Dept, Assembly, Known, Rise Interactive, etc.)
    • Meta Blueprint certifications (Planning, Buying, Developer)
    • Google Ads or Analytics certifications
    • Bilingual capabilities
    • Experience collaborating with private equity-backed brands
