Technical operations specialist - On site - Entry level

Essential Job Functions

• Provide technical support services, responding to issues and assisting in tasks.
• Contribute to projects and tasks under supervision.
• Work with the team to address challenges and meet departmental needs.
• Support the development of documentation, including incident logs and records.
• Continue to develop and enhance technical skills.
• Follow established best practices and standards in service delivery.

• Quarterly IT Review:
  Assist in client’s quarterly IT review (occur once a quarter).
• Password Reset:
  Work Service Now tickets for mainframe password resets (average 1‑3 per day).
• Review Daily Terminated Users:
  Identify any with Mainframe Access (daily process).
• Weekly Process:
  Perform additional review at end of week (weekly).
• Print AP Checks/Solimar:
  Sign in to print server and release prints after checks loaded (once or twice weekly).
• Service Now Dispatching:
  Monitor SN ticket queues and assign tickets that come into the Mainframe Support queue.
• AUL (Affected Units List):
  Generate and send reports based on business search criteria (1‑3 per month).

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically, 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.

• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
