Overview
Summit Medical Group is recruiting for a Level 2 Network Engineer who is responsible for configuring, supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting the organization’s network infrastructure. This is a full-time opportunity.
Responsibilities- Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain systems related to networking, switches, routers, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, SD-WAN, policies, and routing.
- Create clear instruction sets and maintenance guides for distribution among IT teams and staff related to workflows and IT technology usage.
- Maintain knowledge through ongoing education in IT technology to sustain expertise across related IT fields.
- Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team to maintain operational status of all IT technology.
- Contribute to IT projects related to specific technology areas and take responsibility for assigned tasks within the area of expertise.
- Provide regular reports on technical areas of responsibility to IT Management.
- Assist with 3rd party relationships (vendor, consultant, or support groups) as needed for support, deployment, and implementation of specific IT areas of expertise.
- Communicate status, recommendations, specifications, and needs related to specific IT areas clearly and concisely to IT management and/or executive leadership.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in IT. Minimum equivalent experience is defined as 7 years in IT. Health care experience is a plus.
ExperienceExperience with applicable technology solutions for hardware and software including Fortigate, Meraki, switches, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, SD-WAN, policies, routing, etc.
