Job DescriptionAre you an experienced attorney with a strong background in workers' compensation law? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Attorney with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our legal team in Knoxville, TN.
Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters from inception through resolution
- Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Advocate for clients in hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on workers' compensation claims and related issues
- Stay up to date on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
- Collaborate with team members in a remote environment to achieve successful case outcomes
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Tennessee
- 3-6 years of experience specifically in workers' compensation law
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
