Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Fulfillment Associate to join our growing pharmacy operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping orders accurately while ensuring compliance with company procedures, pharmacy regulations, and quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
+ Prepare, package, and ship orders according to established SOPs and shipping requirements.
+ Verify order contents, quantities, labels, and supporting documentation prior to shipment.
+ Ensure compliance with USP standards, state board of pharmacy regulations, and company quality policies.
+ Coordinate with fulfillment, compounding, and customer service teams to resolve order discrepancies and shipping delays.
+ Utilize shipping systems and carrier platforms (Fed Ex, UPS, etc.) to generate labels and track shipments.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Document shipping activities and promptly report issues, errors, damaged products, or shipment concerns.
+ Assist with inventory management related to shipped products, including temperature-sensitive medications when applicable.
Required Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accuracy in a regulated environment.
+ Basic computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn pharmacy and shipping software systems.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to lift, move, and transport packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
+ Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Previous experience in shipping, fulfillment, logistics, or pharmacy operations.
+ Active Pharmacy Technician license or certification preferred.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
