Procurement Manager

Helen Ross McNabb Center seeks a Procurement Manager to lead purchasing for a mission-driven behavioral health and social services nonprofit. This role develops and oversees procurement strategies, negotiates contracts, and manages vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of goods and services for multiple programs and sites. The manager will implement policies, streamline processes, analyze spend, and ensure compliance with healthcare, nonprofit, and grant requirements while partnering closely with finance, clinical, and administrative leaders to support quality client care and responsible stewardship of resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement organization-wide procurement strategies and policies
• Manage full procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, bidding, and contract negotiation
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effective services
• Monitor and analyze spend to identify cost savings and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with healthcare, nonprofit, grant, and organizational requirements
• Collaborate with finance, clinical, and administrative leaders to forecast and meet purchasing needs
• Oversee purchasing for multiple programs and locations across East Tennessee
• Implement and optimize procurement and ERP systems, workflows, and controls
• Prepare reports and dashboards on procurement performance, savings, and vendor metrics
• Support training and guidance for staff on purchasing processes and standards
