EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

The KNOXVILLE JEWISH ALLIANCE (KJA) is offering an exciting professional opportunity in a dynamic and the fast-growing city Knoxville, Tennessee. We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary leader who can provide:

• Strategic leadership
• Fundraising and financial management
• Program development and management
• Staff supervision and development
• Facilities oversight and management

• A dynamic and inclusive organization dedicated to serving and strengthening the Jewish community in the greater Knoxville area and throughout the world.
• An umbrella organization that oversees the Arnstein Jewish Community Center and is an affiliate of the Jewish Federations of North America.
• We are a growing, successful and financially solvent organization that has a large number of endowment funds that support the Jewish community through the Knoxville Jewish Community of Funds.
• We support Israel and world Jewry and educate the community about Israeli and international Jewish culture, art, history and society.
• We spearhead our community’s collective community relations and advocacy efforts and we secure and maintain the resources we need to be protected and safe.
• We actively work to support the success of all our Jewish community partners and organizations by maintaining excellent programs for children and families including a preschool, summer day camp, BBYO, and Hillel at the University of Tennessee.
• Through Jewish Family Services we provide a variety of programs and resources to support individuals and families of all ages.
• Our 25,000 square foot facility on 13 acres in West Knoxville houses tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool and a fenced baby pool, a gymnasium, meeting rooms, community Archives, offices and the local home for many of our local Jewish community organizations.
