About the RoleAre you someone who keeps things organized and running efficiently? Do you enjoy managing projects, working with vendors, improving processes, and ensuring every detail is handled? If so, this could be a great opportunity for you. This role supports KUB’s facilities by overseeing operational service contracts across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural, landscaping, janitorial, environmental, and safety areas. You’ll collaborate closely with KUB personnel and contractors through planning, design, renovations, construction, maintenance, and ongoing facility operations.
Responsibilities include evaluating and improving service contracts, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet specifications, monitoring building systems for efficiency, managing leases and tenant improvements, and assisting with operations and maintenance and capital budgets. If you’re motivated by organization, problem-solving, and keeping operations on track, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact. Some weekend and off hours work is required.
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Physical demands for a specific position within this classification may vary and / or exceed those demands described above.
Must be able to climb steps.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) to three (3) years of demonstrated experience in construction and/or project management or a related field
- General knowledge of project management
- General knowledge of construction methodologies
- Valid driver's license

Preferred Requirements- 5+ years of related work experience in construction, energy, or facilities management
- Prior experience leading, supervising, or inspecting
- Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments
- 2+ years of experience with projects involving HVAC systems, Building Maintenance and Remodeling, General Construction, and Facilities
- Ability to read construction drawings and understand technical aspects of construction
