Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $17.00 per hour
We are currently hiring a reliable and motivated Slinger for a manufacturing facility in Hardin Valley. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity offering steady hours and competitive pay. Position Overview
The Slinger plays a key role in maintaining plant cleanliness, managing metal shavings and scrap materials, and supporting overall production operations. This position requires attention to detail, independence, and the ability to work efficiently within a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain general plant cleanliness and organization
* Clean metal shavings from machines
* Remove oil from shavings and sort clean materials into proper recycling containers
* Prepare scrap materials for recycling pick-up
* Load and unload trucks as needed
* Clean and maintain parts buckets
* Make deliveries to local customers
* Pick up parts from local vendors and platers
* Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
* Ability to work 40 hours per week with flexibility for overtime
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Education & Experience
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Ability to interpret blueprints
* Experience inspecting products using measurement tools preferred
* Willingness to learn through hands-on, on-the-job training
