Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the precision assembly of bellows components and subassemblies, ensuring all products are built according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assemble bellows and related components according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
  • Prepare materials for assembly, including cleaning, deburring, and staging components for production.
  • Assemble precision parts and subassemblies while maintaining proper alignment and fit.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work orders, and written assembly instructions.
  • Utilize hand tools and assembly fixtures to complete production tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Perform visual inspections of completed assemblies to identify defects or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation as required.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards.
  • Follow company policies, quality procedures, and production schedules.
  • Assist with other production and assembly tasks as assigned.
Required Experience
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or mechanical assembly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
  • Experience using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience assembling precision components or mechanical products.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection processes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
