Office Nurse

We're looking for great people to join our team. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about patient care and who maintain a positive attitude and mindset each and every day. As an Office Nurse in our practice, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of clinical duties for patients of all ages with a focus on pediatrics. We will provide all specialty-specific training.

Qualifications
  • LPN, RMA, CMA, or MA with equivalent experience.
  • Excellent people skills.

Responsibilities
  • Greets and creates a positive patient experience with each patient and their family.
  • Conducts patient assessments including vitals and medical histories.
  • Rooms and prepares patients for procedures while maintaining neat and clean clinical areas.
  • Performs diagnostic procedures (skin testing, spirometry, etc.) and basic lab tests (CLIA waived).
  • Administers diagnostic and therapeutic medications, injections, and immunizations as directed by providers.
  • Provides patient education, instruction and support regarding treatment plans.
  • Coordinates patient referrals, lab orders, prior authorizations and pre-certifications.
  • Triages nurse calls and calls in prescriptions.
  • Enters, scans and updates clinical documentation (EMR) ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintains and stocks medical supply inventory and equipment.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
