Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN)
Position:
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) – Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Memory Care
- Assist with routine daily direction of nursing assistants, ensuring high standard of care and task completion.
- Contribute to orientation and training of new LPNs/LVNs and nursing assistants, reinforcing best practices.
- Provide clear explanations of nursing procedures and support staff training.
- Communicate regularly with Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, suggested improvements, resident and employee concerns, and needs.
- Observe and evaluate residents’ health, mental and emotional conditions; report significant changes to appropriate staff.
- Notify physicians and families as required, following established protocols.
- Deliver direct patient care, including catheter placement and care, colostomy care, suction, dressings, naso‑gastric tube maintenance, and other treatments.
- Participate in shift reports at beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate information transfer.
- Assist in admission, orientation, and observation of new residents; ensure accurate transcription and communication of physician orders for diets, therapy, medication, etc.
- Graduate of an approved licensed practical/vocational nursing program.
- Current LPN/LVN license in good standing in the State.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience.
- Commitment to professional nursing standards and principles.
Pay Range: $29.13 – $40.52 per hour (based on qualifications, experience, and geography).
