Nurse Technician

Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, offers a supportive environment dedicated to community health. As a Nurse Tech, you will bring compassion and expertise to help patients recover.

Shift: Full Time – Days

• $3,000 Sign on Bonus

• Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
• Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
• Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute or long‑term care facility preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital is a 57‑bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
