Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a 13‑week assignment in Knoxville, Tennessee starting 07/13/2026. The role involves comprehensive rehabilitative care for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses.

• One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

• Complete nursing assessment of patients on the unit and document appropriately in patient records
• Prepare patients for surgery, including educating them about procedures and post‑operative care
• Coordinate and provide holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs), while ensuring adherence to individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to therapeutic interventions, documenting progress and communicating any deviations or concerns to the interdisciplinary team
• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies and equipment to support rehabilitation care
• Assist with safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions, diagnostic procedures, or other care areas as needed

• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
• Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel to present a positive attitude and professionalism
• Technical/Motor skills: perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
• Mental requirements: cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure; work under close supervision occasionally; handle irregular activity schedules and maintain concentration to detail
• Sensory: possess visual acuity and ability to communicate effectively
