Overview

Join Tennessee Cancer Specialists as a Registered Nurse and deliver life‑saving chemotherapy and infusion treatments to our patients according to treatment plans ordered by our oncology and hematology providers.

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion treatments.
• Monitor patients during infusions for adverse reactions.
• Document treatments, vital signs, and patient responses in the EMR.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintain adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and other safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team.
• Stay current with infusion therapy protocols and best practices.

• Professional nursing degree (BSN preferred);
  Tennessee state RN license required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or infusion settings.
• Experience with venipuncture and port access for infusion therapy.
• Chemo‑Immuno certification preferred; willingness to obtain within first year if not yet certified.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Manual dexterity, proper hand‑eye coordination, corrected vision, and normal hearing.

Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting and handling patients, and operating clinical equipment. The work environment may involve exposure to communicable diseases, medical preparations, and other typical oncology/hematology clinic conditions.
