Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

Overview

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown night shift position in Knoxville, TN, requiring at least 1 year of stepdown experience and active TN or compact RN license.

• Active RN license — TN or Compact state license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (all ACLS modules must be completed)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Stepdown or Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
• Valid driver s license required for consideration

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• 31-bed Cardiac Stepdown unit
• Patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:6
• Total patient care model
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to other units may be required
• No block scheduling
• Charting via Cerner EMR
• 13-week contract
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
