Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Hospital, an Encompass Health facility in Knoxville, TN, seeks an LPN/LVN to provide compassionate inpatient rehab nursing care. You'll deliver direct patient care, administer medications, monitor vitals, support ADLs, and reinforce therapy plans for patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injury, complex orthopedic and neurological conditions. Collaborate closely with RNs, therapists, and physicians in a patient-centered, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient rehabilitation nursing care under RN and physician direction
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor, document, and report patient status, vitals, and responses to therapy
• Support activities of daily living and safe mobility for rehab patients
• Reinforce therapy and rehabilitation plans developed by the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation and care plans
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital policies at all times
• Educate patients and families on care, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians to optimize outcomes
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives
