Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical RN – Tennessee
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required. Self-scheduling available. Block scheduling not guaranteed. Floating between designated medical-surgical units as needed.
Highlights:- 30-bed medical-surgical unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Comprehensive support staff including 2-3 techs per shift, charge nurse, clinical coordinator, manager, and director
- Editech documentation system with advanced equipment including wound vacs, heparin drips, IV pumps, telemetry, feeding pumps, bladder scanners, and glucometers
- Strong culture of recognition including I Heal cards, Daisy Award, Bee Award, and colleague-to-peer recognition programs
- Family-oriented work environment with visible leadership and a commitment to learning and professional development
- Multiple positions available for qualified candidates
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency in IV starts, NGT placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience with lab draws, IV starts, and medical-surgical patient populations
- Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation skills preferred
