Travel RN - Med​/Surg Float Pool

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float RN for a night shift acute care position requiring 2+ years of comparable acuity hospital experience and Cerner EMR proficiency.

• Active unencumbered TN or compact RN license required in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital setting required
• Prior Cerner EMR experience required
• Two references required for consideration

• Acute care float position, assigned to units by nursing supervisor based on staffing needs
• May float to Medical, Surgery/GI, Trauma, Observation, Oncology, Nephrology, Ortho/Joint Replacement, Neuro, Vascular, Pulmonary, Cardiac, and Cardiac Surgery units
• Typical patient ratio of 1:6, varying according to need
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:45pm-7:15am with a 30-minute lunch break
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Not open to block scheduling
• Float pool role covering multiple specialty units across the facility
• Royal blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Previous travelers with this facility are eligible to return
• Travel pairs allowed
