American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float RN with 2+ years of comparable acuity hospital experience and Cerner EMR experience for a night shift float pool position.

• Acute Care Float position, assigned by nursing supervisor at time of scheduling
• Floats across multiple units including Medical, Surgery/GI, Trauma, Observation, Oncology, Nephrology, Ortho/Joint Replacement, Neuro, Vascular, Pulmonary, and Cardiac Surgery/Cardiac units
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 6:45pm-7:15am with a 30-minute lunch break
• Typical patient ratio is 1:6, varies according to need
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner EMR

• Active, unencumbered TN or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a comparable acuity hospital required
• Prior Cerner EMR charting experience required
• Two references required for consideration

• Provides direct patient care across a variety of medical-surgical and specialty units as a float nurse
• Royal blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Returning staff are eligible to reapply
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Travel pairs are welcome to apply
