We are seeking an experienced
Quality Assurance Manager
to oversee food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance within our food processing facility. The ideal candidate will have6-7 years of QA management experience in a food manufacturing or food processing environment
and a strong understanding of
HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)principles. This individual will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, leading audits, managing food safety programs, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Manage and oversee all quality assurance and food safety programs within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs, FDA, USDA, and other applicable food safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate third-party, customer, and regulatory inspections.
- Investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet established quality and safety standards.
- Train and mentor employees on food safety, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation related to quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead the facility's food safety and quality management systems.
- 6-7 years of Quality Assurance Management experience
in a food manufacturing or food processing environment. - Strong knowledge of
HACCP principles and hazard analysis programs
. - Experience with GMPs, sanitation programs, corrective actions, and preventive controls.
- Familiarity with FDA, USDA, and other food industry regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement improvements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality management documentation.
