A well-established food manufacturer with a portfolio of highly recognized consumer products is seeking a Quality Supervisor to join its leadership team. This role will oversee food safety and quality programs during the 2nd or 3rd shift operation
, partnering closely with Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Operations teams to ensure products are manufactured safely, consistently, and in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Quality Technicians and other quality team members during assigned shift.
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and all applicable food safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor production activities and verify adherence to product specifications and quality requirements.
  • Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, consumer complaints, and food safety concerns.
  • Drive corrective and preventive action programs through root cause analysis.
  • Conduct quality audits, inspections, and verification activities throughout the facility.
  • Support internal, customer, and third-party audits while maintaining audit readiness.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams to strengthen food safety and quality culture.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation, records, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • 3+ years of quality or food safety experience within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMPs, FSMA, and FDA regulations.
  • Experience conducting investigations, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and making real-time quality decisions.
