At Lee Roofing – Knoxville, we don’t hire salespeople. We hire professionals who can assess, educate, and guide homeowners through one of the most important investments they’ll ever make.

As a Roof Inspector / Damage Consultant, your primary role is to inspect residential roofs, document storm or wear-related damage, and help homeowners understand their options. You will serve as the trusted advisor on-site — identifying issues, explaining findings clearly, and guiding the homeowner through next steps.

This is a field-based position with uncapped earning potential for individuals who are disciplined, coachable, and performance-driven.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct residential roof inspections for storm or age-related damage
  • Document findings with photos and clear notes
  • Educate homeowners on roofing systems and restoration options
  • Guide homeowners through the insurance or retail replacement process
  • Follow a proven inspection-to-close system
  • Work directly with leadership to sharpen communication and closing skills
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and working outdoors
  • Self-motivated with a high level of personal responsibility
  • Able to handle rejection and stay consistent
  • Coachability and willingness to follow a structured process
  • Sales experience is helpful but not required
Compensation
  • Performance-based pay $70,000–$140,000+ annually (top performers exceed this)
  • Commission structure with clear advancement opportunities
  • Leadership track available for high performers

This role is ideal for individuals who want high income potential without being labeled as "sales". You will be trained on our inspection system, documentation process, and communication framework.
