Senior Financial Group (SFG) is an independent Medicare brokerage helping seniors and their families confidently choose the right healthcare coverage.
Because we represent all major Medicare carriers and products, our Licensed Medicare Sales Agents can recommend the best solutions for each client rather than being tied to a single company.
We are hiring a Licensed Medicare Sales Agent (also known as a Medicare Insurance Agent or Medicare Advantage Agent) to focus primarily on new client acquisition and Medicare enrollments.
Important:
Senior Financial Group has a dedicated Client Services and Retention Team that supports existing clients. This allows our Licensed Medicare Sales Agents to focus primarily on consultative sales, educating prospects, and closing new business rather than ongoing account servicing. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy building relationships, educating clients, and succeeding in consultative sales.
- $25/hour base pay

✔ Dedicated Client Services & Retention Team so agents can focus on new sales and enrollments
Responsibilities- Convert inbound Medicare inquiries into new enrollments
- Conduct outbound calls to qualified leads
- Provide consultative recommendations on Medicare Advantage (MAPD), Prescription Drug Plans (PDP), and Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans
- Educate prospects about Medicare coverage options and enrollment timelines
- Generate additional opportunities through referrals and community outreach
- Present Medicare educational seminars to community groups
- Track prospects and sales activity in CRM systems
- Follow up with prospects professionally by phone and email
✔ This position focuses on new client acquisition and Medicare enrollments, while the Client Services and Retention Team manages ongoing service and existing client support.

- Experience in insurance, financial services, or consultative sales
- Confidence speaking with clients by phone and in person
- A strong desire to educate and help seniors navigate Medicare
- Motivation to build relationships and grow new business

Qualifications- Active Life & Health Insurance License OR ability to obtain before start
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience using CRM systems
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfort working with senior populations
- Ability to succeed in a consultative sales environment
- Medicare Advantage, PDP, or Medicare Supplement sales
- Insurance sales or telephonic sales
- Community outreach or seminar presentations
- Multi-state insurance licensing
- Bilingual language skills (helpful but not required)
This role is based in Knoxville, Tennessee and involves working in the office, collaborating with colleagues, and participating in community events. This is not a remote position. Candidates must live in or relocate to East Tennessee.
